NRL prop offered to Super League clubs

Super League clubs have been alerted to the availability of Parramatta Eels forward Kane Evans.

TotalRL understands a number of clubs were alerted to the 28-year-old earlier this month, though it’s unclear if anyone will make a move for the forward at present.

It isn’t the first time Evans has been made available to Super League clubs, with Hull FC linked with a move for the forward last year.

Castleford have already been linked with the prop ahead of 2021 however other clubs have been offered his services, which suggests a deal has yet to be completed.

Evans has made over 100 appearances in the NRL during spells with Sydney Roosters and the Eels.

A Fiji international, Evans played 19 times for the Eels last season.

The list of NRL players being made available to Super League clubs is down compared to this time in previous years, though that is largely down to the ongoing Pandemic.
