SYLVESTER NAMO has confirmed his exit from Castleford Tigers.
The Papua New Guinea forward only linked up with the West Yorkshire club ahead of the 2023 Super League season, but has left after just 18 months.
The 24-year-old has made 24 appearances for the Tigers, scoring two tries but has now moved on to pastures new following Castleford’s signing of Tom Amone.
Earlier in the week, League Express revealed that a potential swap deal was on the cards between Castleford and Featherstone Rovers which would have seen Namo head to the Millennium Stadium and Connor Wynne move to The Jungle until the end of the 2025 season.
Now Namo has posted on Instagram: “Thank you @ctrlfc for the great opportunity and experience here. Really appreciate it🙏🏽
……On to the next Chapter.”
