
WALES Under 16s head coach Paul Berry has named a 24-player squad for the forthcoming Four Nations Series.
Six have been selected from Bridgend Blue Bulls, while Torfaen Tigers have five in the party. Aber Valley Wolves are celebrating three inclusions and there are two from fledgling outfit West Wales Jets.
Seven players – including Tyler Mills, who is the grandson of Wales Hall of Famer Jim Mills and the son of former captain David Mills, and Lewis Mathias, whose grandfather Roy starred for St Helens and Wales – are from English clubs.
Wales host Ireland at The Lextan Gnoll on Saturday, May 31, and travel to Biggar RFC on Sunday, June 29 for a tilt with Scotland.
They will wrap up the series on Saturday, July 12 against England Community Lions at Halton Farnworth Hornets.
